Supporting families experiencing baby loss
At Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust we support 60 - 70 families each year through late miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death.
Our Maternity Bereavement Appeal is about creating a space at Calderdale Royal Hospital that meets the needs of all our communities and faiths, offering privacy, dignity, and time to say goodbye. Families need a warm and welcoming environment, which includes natural daylight, without disturbance from other hospital wards or departments.
Your support during the holy month of Ramadan can help to create a peaceful, dignified space for families facing the loss of a baby, a lasting sadaqah that brings comfort at the most difficult of times.
