Outpatients well-being bags

Colleagues are able to feel valued and appreciated due to your generous donations. Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Charity have been able to fund Outpatients well-being bags for colleagues, these bags have helped to make our colleagues feel recognised for the work they do.

These bags are a way in which our donors/patients have been able to say 'Thank You' - Rachel Shine, Medical Records Manager, said "When handing these bags out, we have stressed to our colleagues that this is a token from patients who have recently received great care from us and wanted to donate."

The bag includes:

  • Diet Coke - for hydration
  • Love heart sticky note - share the love, gives colleagues the chance to write nice comments/inspiration quotes for themselves or others
  • KitKat - for some energy
  • Sticky notes
  • Love heart sweets - again, to share the love
  • Pen - everyone loves and needs a pen

The whole team have a 'team building session' once a month to help colleagues take their mind off work related things/stressful times. Colleagues are asked to attend these sessions in normal clothes, not work uniform. These sessions happen to help colleagues reconnect with their fellow colleagues whilst engaging in fun activities.

"We are forever grateful for the support of the charity team for administrating the transactions and supporting us as a team" - Rachel Shine.

We wouldn't be able to do our job and help to support teams if it wasn't for YOU! Thank you for all your support and gifts - you really do make a big difference!
