We are finalists!!

We are delighted to announce that the My Forever Box project, funded through your kind donations, has been nominated for a Nursing Times Award in the Team of the Year category.

My Forever Box is a personal memory making box to enable a child to process the death of a significant adult or sibling and to have their own safe box. The box aims to enable the pre-bereaved child to process what is happening to their loved one.

Lead Nurse for Children and young People, Julie Mellor, said: "Being nominated for a Nursing Times Award inspires me to dream big - from on little acorn to the potential of a nationwide forest - we'll continue to grow the concept of My Forever Box for all children and families facing the loss of a loved one."

The awards will take place on Wednesday 23rd October - good luck team!
